Sizing and fit

How do I choose my size?

Order in your chest size, from 32 to 50 in (open-front pieces to 52), or choose made to measure. The size guide shows the charts and how to measure. For colour, fabric and timing, read How to choose a sherwani for your wedding.

What does made to measure involve?

After you order we send a short measuring video and a form on WhatsApp. You measure at home, we confirm every number with you, and only then cut the cloth. A custom sherwani cut to your numbers costs a little more than a ready size; the price shows when you select it.

Can I change my measurements after ordering?

Yes, at any time before we confirm them with you and cut. After cutting, no.

What if it does not fit?

Our fit promise covers you: show us on a short video call within 30 days of delivery where it differs from the measurements you gave, and we pay $40 (£30 in the UK) towards a local tailor. If we made it wrong, we remake, repair or refund it. Full details: refund policy.

Making and delivery

How long does it take?

Every piece is made after you order and dispatched in 8 to 10 days, then delivered by tracked express courier, usually within 7 to 10 days to the USA, the UK and Canada.

Can you make it in time for my wedding?

Write your wedding or event date in the box above the Add to cart button. If we cannot deliver in time, we tell you straight away, before anything is cut.

Do you ship to my country?

Checkout covers the USA, the UK and Canada, with free shipping. Buyers in India order on WhatsApp and pay in rupees by UPI. For any other country, email us and we send a rate the same day.

How do I track my order?

We send the tracking link by email and WhatsApp the day your order leaves Jaipur.

Duties, payment and returns

Will I pay customs duties?

USA: no. Every parcel ships delivered duty paid; all import duties are included in the price. Canada: customs may charge GST, provincial tax, duty and a small courier fee on delivery. UK: customs may charge import VAT and duty on delivery. Shipping policy.

How can I pay?

By card or PayPal balance through PayPal's secure checkout; no PayPal account is needed. Buyers in India pay by UPI on WhatsApp.

Can I return it?

Made-to-order pieces are cut for you, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind; the fit promise above covers sizing. Faults, damage or a piece that does not match your order: we remake, repair or refund, and pay the shipping. Refund policy.

Can I cancel my order?

Not once it is placed, because cutting starts after your measurements are confirmed. If we find we cannot dispatch by the date we gave you, we tell you straight away and you can cancel for a full refund.

About Sei Berach

Who makes the pieces?

Sei Berach is a menswear house from Jaipur, India, founded by heirs to two families that have dressed Jaipur's grooms for six decades. Every piece is cut in Jaipur after you order and worked by karigars whose fathers and grandfathers did the same work at the same tables. About us.

Where does the name come from?

The name Sei Berach is drawn from two rivers, the Sei and the Berach, that rise together in the Aravalli hills of Rajasthan and part, one flowing west, one east. One source, two journeys: two families joined in one house, as at every wedding, and thread that meets, parts and meets again to make something intricate that lasts.

Are the Etsy reviews yours?

Yes. The same workshop has sold on Etsy for years: over 200 buyer reviews, 4.9 stars, Star Seller. See them at seiberach.etsy.com.

What is included in the price?

The pieces named under "What you get" on each product page, for example the sherwani and the matching pants. The stole, safa (turban), mala and juttis in the photos are styling and can be ordered separately on WhatsApp.
